Very nice staff, allowed us to upgrade rooms to more beds for adult children traveling. Lovely garden, tasty breakfast. Across the street from wonderful take-out Chinese and Indian food when we arrived late at night. Be sure to see the antique well downstairs.
Be ready to carry your luggage up a steeper flight of stairs.

missingWrote a review on 14 Octspacious familyoriginal featurespoor breakfast
The family room delivers a solid amount of space, perfectly suited for group travelers. Unique original features, like a well within the house, add charm to the atmosphere.
Breakfast service has room for improvement. A long wait time for coffee and an overall weak brew missed the mark. Some furniture is excessive for the room size, like large dressers which overshadow usable space. A noticeable crack in the window detracts from the overall ambiance.

Charming hotel with good service
The Shrubbery Hotel radiates warmth with its family-run charm. My spacious room was comfortable, and I loved the lovely garden, a great spot to unwind after exploring.
The room's decor felt a bit outdated, and the shower pressure left something to be desired, making for a slightly less refreshing experience.

The good family room I occupied was spacious with comfortable beds and topped off with a hearty breakfast to kickstart the day!
